Birdie’s Barroom & Kitchen, located at 150 Fayetteville Street in Raleigh, is not only an exciting culinary addition to downtown but another architectural collaboration with Olive Architecture and LM Restaurants. The design of Birdie’s reflects an eclectic blend of modern and traditional elegance serving downtown from “sunrise to moonrise” featuring an early morning breakfast deli, lunch and evening dining with an elegant bar and patio for added nightlife. The space is a blend sophisticated yet approachable design elements with marble and white oak flooring, blended together with custom fabricated brass, glass and white oak shelving and a spectacular brass bar table fabricated by Raleigh’s McConnell Studios.
This partnership aligns with the broader vision of LM Restaurants and Highwoods Properties, both of which are key players in the revitalization of downtown Raleigh. The goal is to transform the area into a vibrant, communal space, where Birdie’s plays a central role as a dining and social hub, featuring a spectacular plaza for outdoor dining, served by the indoor/outdoor bar as a venue for music and other entertainment.
