As I look back on 2025, my heart is filled with gratitude. Above all else, God has blessed me with a beautiful, loving, supportive, and at times whacky family to share this life with. Without them, I am nothing. Being able to spend meaningful time with the people I love most is a gift I never take for granted. From fishing trips in Tahoe, to cruising the San Diego Bay, to watching my children thrive in academics and sports, each moment stands as a testament to what a loving and supportive family can build together. When you nurture one another, success follows in ways far greater than any single achievement.
This year has also been a creative one. Opportunities found their way to me that reignited my passion for woodworking and fine carpentry, relighting a fire that had been dormant since my days in high school woodshop. I am deeply grateful to be able to provide for my family while doing something I genuinely love and I continue to learn along the way. While I don’t often share photos of my work on social media (much to Meghan’s dismay), I’ve never been one to seek attention. I place my faith in God and trust Him to guide my path. If it’s meant to be, the work will speak for itself, and the word will spread in His time.
When I reflect on the hard work, the laughter, and the lessons learned this year, I’m reminded of a simple truth; when you keep God first in your heart and mind, everything else has a way of falling into place. Here’s to a remarkable year behind us—and, God willing, an even better 2026 ahead.
God bless.
