Every contractor is to carry a wallet sized copy of their licenses. Pictured is my individual and business license cards for Michigan and Wisconsin. Always check on your contractors license numbers!

It is getting close to spring. So this is your friendly reminder to always check on the credibility of your contractors.
Always ask for a license number and look it up. For Michigan, you look on LARA and for Wisconsin you look on Wisconsin Department of Safety and Professional Services.

Every state has this option to look up licenses. You can look up any professional that requires licenses to operate, I.E plumbers, electricians, child care providers, code officials. Attached are links for Michigan and Wisconsin to look up licenses.

Always ask for the license number and proof of liability insurance before making any payment or accepting of a contract. If the person is actually licensed, they will have no issue giving you the license numbers.
All general contractors have a wallet sized card that they have to keep on them at all times and are to present it.
If you claim to be a licensed contractor when you are not. You are subject to jail time and/or fines.
Our license numbers are in our business description, but I will comment them on this post for easier access.

This customer contacted us to finish the stairs to the second story of their home and finish the second story with wall framing and dry wall. The spindles are rebar with a beautiful decorative piece at the top of the stairs.

You can catch Eric and Jon out in Ironwood today working on a chimney for one of our customers.
Once the chimney is replaced, we will be working on the roof.
The manlift was rented through Bessemer Small Engine.
