🎃 **ONE OF OUR WINNING SPOOKY PEST STORIES COMES FROM CHERISE... AND THIS ONE ESCALATED QUICKLY.** 😳

It started like any good Halloween horror story:

Tossing.
Turning.
Scratching.

Then Cherise Kala looked down and realized she had company.

**Bed bugs.**

Her reaction?

**“AW HELL NAW.”**

From there, it was full emergency mode:

🛏️ Strip the bed
🧺 Wash everything
🔥 Dry it all
🗑️ Get that bed OUT

And yes, the story ends with the bed in the dumpster.

Pests... they’re just like us. 😂

A woman dressed as a bumblebee. A bumblebee dressed as a woman.

At this point, we’re not sure who’s copying who.

Either way, October costume season is bringing out everybody’s alter ego.

The fun part is dressing like a pest.

The less fun part is when the real pests start showing up around your home looking for food, warmth, and a place to settle in.

Not every little red bug hanging around your house this fall is a true ladybug. In Minnesota, multicolored Asian lady beetles start showing up in a big way as temperatures cool down — and they love gathering on warm, sunny sides of homes before trying to sneak inside for the winter.
A few clues: 🐞 Their color can vary from yellow to orange to red 🐞 They can have many spots, a few spots, or none at all 🐞 The biggest giveaway? That signature black “M” marking behind the head
They may look harmless, but once they start showing up in large numbers, they can become a real nuisance fast.

Pests... they’re just like us. 😂
A man dressed as a mouse. A mouse dressed as a man. A woman dressed as a spider. And a spider dressed as a Habitat Pest Solutions tech.
October has officially gone off the rails.
The funny part? Fall pests really are trying to act a little too much like us right now. They want warmth, shelter and a cozy place to spend the season.
Unfortunately, they keep choosing our houses.
