🏗️ Another Project Completed by Aragon Handyworks LLC! 🔨🏡

We're excited to share one of our latest projects! This beautiful 20' x 30' custom-built carport features an 11-foot high side and a 9-foot low side, finished with a combination of Colony Green roofing and beige metal accents that complement the surrounding landscape.

But this project involved much more than just building a carport!

Here's a look at everything we accomplished:

✅ Custom Carport: A spacious, three-bay structure designed to provide plenty of covered parking and protection from the elements.

✅ Custom 6-Foot Fence: Built with latillas and a custom cedar gate featuring a staggered design to match the surrounding fence.

✅ Gravel Installation: Spread gravel throughout the area to create a clean, functional parking surface.

✅ Natural Rock Border: Used natural stone to create a beautiful transition between the new gravel and the existing landscape.

✅ Drainage Improvements: Excavated and reshaped portions of the surrounding ground to help direct water away from the structure.

🔨 And there's more to come!

This project was designed with future improvements in mind. Eventually, the plan is to enclose the front side with latillas and transform the far-left bay into a small workshop, complete with a concrete floor and additional finishing work.

Those improvements will come in phases, but we're excited to see how this property continues to develop!

Another 3-part project completed! 🔨🏠

We had the opportunity to tackle several upgrades on this property, and everything came together beautifully.

🎨 Interior Painting
We gave the home a fresh, clean look with a beautiful white finish throughout the bedrooms and bathrooms, including the walls, ceilings, closets, and pantries.

🚿 Complete Shower Remodel
We removed the existing shower and installed a brand-new shower featuring a built-in niche and beautiful marble-style tile. A clean, modern upgrade that completely transformed the space.

🪵 7-Foot Coyote Fence
To finish off the project, we installed approximately 260 feet of 7-foot-tall coyote fencing, adding privacy while keeping that classic Northern New Mexico look.

ONE PROPERTY — FOUR DIFFERENT PROJECTS 🏡🔨

Here’s a recent project where the homeowner had several different ideas for improving and making better use of their property — and we were able to take care of all of them from start to finish.

1️⃣ Gravel Walkway
We started by creating a custom gravel walkway using w**d barrier underneath and pressure-treated 2x4s to create the border and keep the gravel contained. The borders were secured with rebar to keep everything firmly in place. The homeowner had a specific design in mind, and we were happy to bring it to life.

2️⃣ Camper Parking Area
Next, we cleared sage and vegetation from another section of the property and prepared an area for the homeowner's camper. We laid down pit run to create a solid base, followed by base course to provide a clean, durable parking area — and a nice place to park the camper and enjoy those New Mexico sunsets.

3️⃣ 10-Acre Boundary Fence
The biggest portion of the project was fencing the boundary of approximately 10 acres. This included installing H-braces, setting T-posts, stretching and properly tensioning the wire, and completing the perimeter fence around the property.

4️⃣ Greenhouse Area
Finally, we prepared a level base-course pad for a greenhouse the homeowner had purchased, assembled and anchored the greenhouse, and finished the surrounding area with w**d barrier and gravel. This helps keep the area clean and accessible instead of turning into mud whenever it rains.

One property, four very different projects — all handled by the same crew.

🐴 1,000 LINEAR FEET OF HORSE FENCING GOODNESS! 🐴

Another big project in the books, and this one was a fun one!

We installed right around 1,000 linear feet of horse fencing, built strong and built to last. This project featured:

🔨 Round wood posts, with every single post set in concrete as requested by the owner
🐎 Heavy-duty 12.5-gauge horse fencing for a strong, secure enclosure
🪵 A 2x4 top border that not only gives the fence a clean finished look, but also provides an important visual cue for the horses
🚜 Skid-steer work to remove the sage and clear the fence line
🔄 Clearing and shaping a roundabout area to make it easier to bring in horse trailers and hay trailers
🚪 Several gates carefully installed and aligned for a clean, professional finish

There was definitely a lot more to this project than just stretching fence, and we're proud of how the whole thing came together.

We were invited up to Red River, NM to help put some finishing touches on this beautiful little cabin! 🏔️🏡

For this project, we took care of:

🔨 Assembling and hanging all of the kitchen cabinets
🎨 Staining the cabinets to give them this warm, finished look
🪨 Installing and putting together the countertops
🗄️ Building and installing the pantry next to the refrigerator
👕 Assembling and installing a multifunction IKEA closet system, complete with interior drawers and lighting
🔩 Making sure everything was properly secured, leveled, and finished

The cabinets didn't come in this color, so getting everything stained and seeing the kitchen come together made a huge difference.

Sometimes we're brought in for the entire project, and other times we're called in to help get one across the finish line. Either way, we're always happy to make the trip and get it done right.

We’ve been SUPER busy lately! 🔨💪 Between keeping projects moving and staying on the job, I’ve definitely fallen behind on posting some of the work we’ve completed.

So fair warning… I’ll probably be blowing up your Facebook feed over the next few days 😂 We’ve got quite a few projects to catch up on!

Here’s one of our latest:

We completed this 40' × 12' Trex deck with a 40' × 13' covered roof, giving this family a huge outdoor area they can enjoy for years to come.

The deck was built with a pressure-treated wood structure and finished with Trex composite decking using hidden fasteners for that clean, seamless look. We also built two sets of steps for convenient access.

There’s plenty of room under this covered deck for grilling, outdoor dining, a comfortable seating area, entertaining family and friends, or just relaxing outside.

Another great project in the books — and plenty more coming! 🏡🔨

Another couple of projects wrapped up by Aragon Handy Works. 💪
First project was a beautiful 260-foot-long, 6-foot-high coyote fence. The homeowner already had the posts set, and we came in to install the metal horizontal rails and carefully tie all the latillas by hand. This style of fence always brings that clean rustic look while still being strong and long-lasting.
Second project was forming and pouring a brand new 14x30 concrete patio pad. The goal for this one was simple — create a comfortable outdoor space where the homeowner can relax, barbecue, spend time with family, and enjoy the property even more. We formed it out, reinforced it properly, and gave them a clean finished slab ready for years of use.

Here’s one of our latest projects we’ve been working on. We started by removing an old deck that had originally been built incorrectly, then carefully excavated everything completely by hand so we could preserve the existing grass and landscaping around the area.

From there, we reframed the entire structure the right way from the ground up and built this beautiful 22x12 redwood deck. Before sealing it, we gave all of the redwood a light sanding to remove any imperfections from installation, handling, or even from the material itself straight from the store, leaving everything smooth, clean, and ready for finish.

We then sealed it with a natural-tone sealer that really made the redwood grain and color pop while still protecting it from the elements without taking away its original beauty.

To top it all off, we installed a bronze polycarbonate roof system that allows just the right amount of sunlight to come through while still providing plenty of shade and comfort so the homeowners can enjoy the space throughout the day.

Definitely one of those projects where the final result completely transformed the outdoor area. If you’re thinking about refreshing your project don't hesitate in giving the Aragon Handy Works crew a call!!!!

Hello beautiful community of Northern New Mexico. Its been a minute since Aragon Handyworks has posted its newest projects but its been super busy! So heres our latest project!

Big transformation underway on this one 🔥
We started by tearing out an old, outdated deck to make way for something brand new. The new build is going to feature some really clean spiral posts that’ll give it a completely different look and feel.
We also removed a section of cracked, worn-out concrete and replaced it with a fresh patio reinforced with rebar. The design was actually laid out by the homeowners themselves, so it’s got a unique touch you don’t see every day. On top of that, we poured new slabs for an outdoor grill area and a dedicated parking space.
To tie everything together, we built a new retaining wall that’s going to support a 6-foot coyote fence. This one’s getting metal posts and rails for strength and longevity.
Still plenty more to come—next up is installing the latillas on the fence, building out the new deck, and finishing the retaining wall with stucco.
