Exciting times!! Cypher Electrical Services LLC has partnered with Brattleboro Solar Management to form Hilltop Solar Services. This will allow us to offer a full suite of Operations and Maintenance services for commercial solar array customers across Vermont and New England. From utility scale PV to community based solar programs, we provide customized management that takes care of your business and equipment.

Cypher Electrical Services is growing! We are seeking an enthusiastic, knowledgeable electrician to join our team in 2025. At Cypher Electrical Services, we handle a wide variety of electrical needs for our clients, including troubleshooting, installation and repairs of residential systems, commercial/manufacturing facilities, and large-scale solar arrays. We are based in Randolph, Vermont and currently serve clients in the central Vermont area (roughly White River to Montpelier). Our ideal candidate will have a wide range of experience and take pride in a job well done. Quality and excellent customer service skills are extremely important. We would prefer a licensed journeyman, but will consider a 3rd or 4th year apprentice.

Looking for an EV charger but don't want to change your existing panel? For this customer we were able to do a service upgrade to allow for an EV charger. We utilized a meter socket with breaker spaces to allow this hookup to happen right on the side of the house and leave the panel untouched!

We got a customer set up with off grid options this past week. On the exterior of the house we installed a generator hookup. On the interior we installed an inverter for a battery backup system and a future solar array.

A new panel for a customer who discovered water in their old panel box. After some investigation we found that the service entrance cable was bringing water into the box. We replaced both the service cable and panel and sealed any holes into the house.

Today was one of those days that didn't go as planned. We were assigned a repair by one of our commercial solar clients and this happened! However we persisted and were able to make the repair and get their site back up and producing at 100%!

Did you know that we offer emergency service?
On Sunday we were called to a home with no power. The problem was found to be a failure of the underground cable feeding the home. We are thankful for our partners at Green Mountain Electric Supply who opened after hours to help get the supplies we needed to restore our customer's power before the end of the day.
