We had some surprise piglets 🐷 on Wednesday! These were not part of the contest because they were not mama pigs. She’s still holding out! These two will still be on the list for deposit piglets if you’re looking one girl one boy. PM me if you’d like to get put on the list. The brown and white is a gilt and the boar is the black and white
I did not make a post because we had to scramble in order to keep them safe and dry, it was pouring rain and although we had a maternity pen set up for mama pig, we had no idea this hog was pregnant. She’s one we rescued a few months back and she didn’t look pregnant, but she had two babies secretly waiting for us. Super cute. Had to keep the little brown and white girl warm for hours so she didn’t have hypothermia, but they ended up being all safe and healthy having farm animals and livestock keeps you on your toes for sure.
