Here is a project that I was fortunate to be involved in. About half a dozen years after working on the most amazing house of my career, I worked on that client’s next project, a spa/party house that hangs out over a cliff looking down into an incredible canyon below. Thankfully, I was just involved in designing the living space from the ground up and structural engineers worked out all the details that will make it all happen. The client is hoping to break ground soon, and I’ll be following the progress!

I just finished the plans for this large modern contemporary home to be built by Jones Construction of Rapid City. A very unique design that was very challenging given the owner’s site and the views that they wanted to maintain. I have my fingers crossed that it will price out at their budget!

I recently checked in on this Custer project that I designed for Scott McCaskell Construction. It’s a bed & breakfast/Airbnb lodge at their Tiny Bison Resort east of town. Lots of windows with amazing views to the northeast. The back wall is around 41’-0” high! Imagine sitting on those future lower and upper decks checking out that view! 🤩
