We prefer operators who are familiar with CAT controls and are comfortable excavating around underground utilities or have extensive on site experience. Construction laborers are not required to have experience, just a great work ethic and motivation!

Responsibilities and Tasks of General Laborer position includes:

Help with underground pipe installation
Help load and unload equipment.
Gather materials for job sites.
Follow project instructions from construction manager or foreman.
Consult with construction plans.
Direct traffic safely around the construction or road maintenance site.
Follow all health and safety regulations.
Ensure regulated and proper headgear, ear plugs, gloves, safety glasses and clothing are worn.
Complete all assigned tasks in a timely and efficient manner.
Safely operate a variety of tools.
Position is labor intensive, use of manual tools along with various body movement is required.
Provide assistance to contractors as needed.
Clean and clear debris and hazardous materials.
Ensure construction equipment and tools are cleaned, maintained and stored properly.

Operators must be familiar with CAT style controls and Bobcat style foot controls. Persons seeking employment must be able to pass drug screening. Wages are based on experience. We focus mainly on building excavation, site grading, building demolition and under ground utilities. Most of our companies work is done within the Rapid City and surrounding areas. We do a substantial amount of work at Ellsworth Air Force Base so all driving records must be clean (no felony's and criminal charges within the last 3 years) to obtain a base pass. We work year round with summer being our busiest season. We're looking for motivated, hard working individuals.

Hauling materials from one place to another is the main job of a dump truck driver. Drivers must follow schedules. Required to verify the types of materials he/she is hauling to know where material are going. Drivers must communicate with equipment operators, job site foreman and other truck drivers. Trucks are to be kept clean and daily inspections must be done before the start-up of each day. Must always use tarps when loaded. Drivers must always wear proper PPE on job sites. Must have a clean driving record and able to pass drug screenings. Drivers with experience operating equipment (ie: loaders, bobcats) is desirable.
