Please be patient everyone is working hard and non stop.

Oh man!! That breaks the two day snowfall record of 31.9 set March 13-14, 1997! Now, records do only go back 67 years to 1959. This is still a remarkable storm system and will set records in other areas with records going back to the early 1900s or even late 1800s as well. That's a lot of snow!

🔴Effective immediately, a blizzard warning is in effect for the entire Upper Peninsula prepares for severe weather.

🔴This potentially historic storm is set to unleash record-breaking snowfall across the region. Central and eastern areas may see between 1 and 3 feet, with local totals hitting 4 feet.

🔴Expect dangerous to impossible travel, widespread power outages, and a lengthy recovery period as communities dig out from this unprecedented winter event.

🔴Starting Sunday morning at 8:00 AM, expect near zero visibility and snowfall rates exceeding 1 inch per hour, reaching 2-3 inches hourly.

🔴As strong winds join heavy snowfall, a fierce blizzard looms. Snow will blow and drift, visibility vanishing. By Sunday evening, winds could exceed 55 mph, plunging wind chills to -10 degrees.

🔴Residents should stay indoors, stock up on essentials, and monitor local news for updates. Travel is discouraged due to hazardous conditions.
