NOW HIRING: Heavy Equipment / Diesel Mechanic
Job description includes routine maintenance and trouble shooting of heavy equipment, dump trucks and standard fleet trucks. This position will require both field work and shop based work.
Basic requirements:
Valid SC drivers license.
Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen
Ability to anticipate and troubleshoot issues and communicate results
Knowledge of safe equipment operation and maintenance
Experience working with the following equipment desired:
Backhoes, skid steers, mini-excavators, other pieces of heavy equipment.
Our Company has been in business in the Charleston area since 1950. We work primarily in, but not limited to, the larger Charleston metropolitan area including Downtown Charleston, North Charleston, Johns Island, Kiawah and Seabrook Islands, Mt. Pleasant, Daniel Island, Sullivans Island and the Isle of Palms.
Our compensation package includes:
Health, dental, and vision insurance after 2 months continuous employment
Elective Life insurance and long and short term disability
Annual leave after one year and sick leave after six months continuous employment
401K
Pay is commensurate with experience
