🌿 Bittersweet may look harmless, but don’t let it fool you!

This is a great example of just how aggressive invasive bittersweet can be. Look at the root system on this one plant! 😳

Bittersweet spreads quickly, sending out extensive roots and climbing nearby trees and shrubs. Once established, it can choke out native vegetation, smother smaller trees, and even damage mature trees as the vines grow thicker and heavier.

Simply cutting the vines back often isn’t enough — the roots can continue to send up new growth. Getting as much of that root system out as possible is key to keeping it under control.

This property got a much-needed refresh!

We cleared out the overgrown areas, cleaned everything up, and created new landscaped beds with retaining walls, fresh mulch, and colorful plantings. What was once overgrown and unused space is now clean, bright, and adds some great curb appeal to the home!

Another transformation we’re pretty proud of! 🌳🏡

This property had years of overgrown shrubs, bushes, trees, and vegetation that had completely taken over the landscaping and, in some areas, was growing right up against the house.

We came in and gave everything a much-needed reset — removing unwanted and overgrown vegetation, cutting back and reshaping what was worth keeping, cleaning out the beds, and opening the property back up.

The difference in these before & after photos is incredible. You can actually see the house again, the yard feels twice as big, and the landscaping has a clean slate to work from!

We love jobs like this because the transformation is immediate, and seeing the finished result makes all the hard work worth it!

It’s hard to believe these before-and-after pictures are even of the same property! 🤯🌳

This young couple recently purchased their new home, and the property had years of overgrown brush, trees, and accumulated debris that needed some serious attention.

When I first met with them to look at the job, my immediate thought was, “Wow, I can’t wait to make this property look beautiful for them.” Being able to see the potential in a property and then bring that vision to life is one of the most rewarding parts of what we do.

We came in and tackled it all — clearing brush, taking down unwanted trees, removing debris, and opening the property back up. The transformation is incredible! Looking at the before-and-after photos, it almost doesn’t seem possible that they’re the same areas.

There’s something especially rewarding about helping new homeowners reclaim their property and giving them a clean slate to make it their own.

A lot of hard work went into this one, but seeing the finished product and knowing how excited the homeowners are makes every bit of it worth it!

Another project wrapped up on beautiful Sebago Lake! ☀️🌲

We gave this property a fresh new look while also helping protect the shoreline and surrounding areas with erosion-control improvements.

We installed erosion-control material throughout the property and added crushed stone as a decorative finish, creating clean, defined areas that look great alongside the natural landscape.

A lot of hard work went into this transformation, and we’re really happy with how it came out!

I have some of the best customers!!! ❤️

I just finished up a job for a new customer clearing a tree line. We removed all the trees, brought in fill & loam, graded the area, and we’ll be back to seed it this fall.

She was super happy with how everything turned out, which is always the most important thing to me!

When the job was finished, she asked if it had taken longer than I originally expected. I told her it had, but sometimes that happens. I gave her a price for the job, and I was just happy that she was happy with the end result.

Her response? She told me to invoice her for the extra time because she felt it was only fair.

That really meant a lot to me. I’ve always tried to treat my customers the same way. If I quote a job and it ends up taking less time or costing less than expected, I don’t believe in charging the full amount just because that’s what was quoted.

Fairness goes both ways, and it’s customers like this who remind me why I love what I do!

These old shrubs had reached the end of their life, so we removed them, hauled out all the decorative stone, dug out the deep root systems, installed beautiful new hostas, and carefully reset all of the stone.

Another drainage problem solved! 💪

This area was a constant low spot that collected water after every rain. We excavated the existing grass and loam, regraded the area, and installed gravel to create proper drainage and eliminate the standing water.

Now the water has somewhere to go, helping keep the area dry, usable, and easier to maintain.

This property got a simple but dramatic facelift with a thorough cleanup, fresh edging, w**d control, and new 3/4” washed stone installed around the home and garage.

It’s amazing how much cleaner and more polished a home looks with fresh stone and defined landscape beds. Not only does it improve curb appeal, but it also helps reduce maintenance around the foundation.
