We had a blast building this timber framed gazebo for the Raynesford Community Center in time for their Independence Day BBQ on the 4th.

We'd like to give a shoutout and a hearty thank you to Aaron from Strine Station and Jodi for helping us raise the frame on the morning of the 4th.

One of my favorite parts of this build is that all the timbers came from logs that were locally sourced in the big belt or little belt mountains. With the majority coming from trees that were knocked down in the May 2024 storm that hit our area. It's great to be able to utilize local resources for local projects that will benefit the local community for the long term.

Well folks, that's a wrap.

This 50x60 shop is completed.

A clear span building constructed on a concrete foundation with custom milled 8x8 posts.

It's been a joy to build this for our neighbors working at the wind farm in Geyser.

Our pricing meets or beats all the local post frame competitors while providing a concrete foundation and a timber framed structure. It's built to code and with engineer approved designs.

3000 sqft concrete pad for the floor in this post frame shop all poured by Premier Contracting out of Fort Shaw, MT. It turned out great.

They even poured a front entry apron and pads at the doorways.

Metal roofing and siding install went quick. Especially with the help of CS Roofing out of Great Falls. They came in and busted out the install of the roofing sheets. Isaiah Smith and I tackled the metal siding and trim install.

It's been a hot minute since I made an update on this post frame project. We had the holidays and some setbacks, but we kept at it. We've made a ton of progress since my last post, and I'll bring you all along step by step.

This is from back in December. We set the trusses, only to have them blown down in a wind storm. But eventually the wind calmed down enough that we were able to reset some new and some repaired trusses. The weather was really the biggest hold-up on making progress.
