Termite swarms have hit our area hard the last couple of weeks. See below on what signs to look for. If in doubt, call us for an inspection.

You may have noticed termite activity increasing the last few days.

The LSU AgCenter experts recommend:
• Turn off outdoor lights in the evenings to avoid attracting swarmers
• Check for mud tubes along walls, a common sign of termites in your home
• Keep wood, mulch and debris away from your home’s foundation when possible
• Don’t panic if a few termites get in through a door, but swarming indoors is a concern
• Fix leaks and reduce excess moisture, which termites thrive in
