Eilers Bros assisted the Readsboro Fire Dept after a house fire on Main Street today. Everyone got out safe and there were no injuries. Rodney Eilers ran the excavator to knock down the hot spots and for safety concerns. Great turn out of our neighboring towns fire dept mutual aid and our own Readsboro Firefighters.

30 years ago Eilers Bros participated in transporting Christmas Trees 🌲 to the U.S. Capital building through the club they belong to, the Green Mtn. “Bull Dawg” Chapter. The Capital's tree ( a 58-foot Balsam Fir)was cut in nearby Somerset, VT in the Green Mtn. National Forest. Joe Eilers drove one down in a 1955 LTL Mack Tractor (shown). Joe & Charlie were honored to be part of the convoy to D.C and we are proud to share this memory.
