PJ Helicopters conducts LiDAR gas line patrol operations, utilizing our Bell 407 to scan pipeline corridors for leaks. LiDAR technology allows us to cover large stretches of pipeline efficiently from the air, giving gas utility companies detailed data to identify leaks and maintain infrastructure integrity.

The Hawk MX team has been busy this off-season. Two complete aircraft resets and builds. Digital audio panel upgrades. Helitak bladder replacements on nearly every firefighting tank in the program. With Hawks stationed from California to our East Coast base in Bedford, PA, PJ Helicopters maintains readiness nationwide.

In July 2025, PJ Helicopters supported lift construction at Deer Valley Resort in Utah in partnership with Doppelmayr, operating in steep, high-elevation terrain where conventional crane access was limited. Deploying our CH-47D Utility Hook, the team erected 24 towers and averaged fewer than 10 minutes per pick to maintain steady production in a demanding mountain environment.

With a short alpine build window, speed is critical to keeping projects on track and resorts ready for guests. Our crews delivered disciplined heavy-lift performance that kept construction moving and the schedule aligned ahead of winter operations.

A CH-47D Chinook burns approximately 340 gallons per hour.
A UH-60A Black Hawk burns approximately 160.

In environments with limited infrastructure, those numbers drive every logistics decision.

Our fuel truck teams identify access routes, deploy early, and position volume at remote landing zones to ensure aircraft remain productive throughout the day.

As seasonal operations continue to expand, we will be adding to our fuel truck crews in the near future. A valid Class A CDL with Hazmat endorsement will be required.

PJ Helicopters is supporting PAR operations by providing aerial support in the field. Operating from our Grand Junction, CO, location, our teams use Black Hawks and Bell 407s as tools to help PAR crews complete maintenance and rebuild work safely and efficiently.

Snow survey operations are beginning this week.
In support of our utility customers, our crews are utilizing Bell 407 helicopters to transport resource planners, hydrographers, and engineers to remote locations to measure snowpack. These surveys are conducted four times each year and continue through winter and spring.
