PJ Helicopters’ CH-47D Chinook has completed caisson and steel pole sets across seven structure sites on a 115kV transmission line in Florida. Setting the caissons required flying a power pack, fixture, and vibratory hammer to each site to help drive them into the ground.

Following the hurricane, the aircraft remains on standby to assist with any storm damage, keeping heavy-lift support available for response and recovery efforts.

491PJ is putting in the prep work on U.S. Forest Service land adjacent to Yosemite National Park, supporting K.W. Emerson on an upcoming hiking bridge repair project.

Early site preparation is helping set the stage for the work our crews will take on later in the project.

PJ Helicopters conducts LiDAR gas line patrol operations, utilizing our Bell 407 to scan pipeline corridors for leaks. LiDAR technology allows us to cover large stretches of pipeline efficiently from the air, giving gas utility companies detailed data to identify leaks and maintain infrastructure integrity.

The Hawk MX team has been busy this off-season. Two complete aircraft resets and builds. Digital audio panel upgrades. Helitak bladder replacements on nearly every firefighting tank in the program. With Hawks stationed from California to our East Coast base in Bedford, PA, PJ Helicopters maintains readiness nationwide.
