Some projects require more than cosmetic updates.
This breezeway and laundry room renovation started with water intrusion that had led to mold growth, framing damage, and insect activity over time. Before any finishes could be considered, the underlying issues had to be addressed properly.
Damaged framing was repaired, affected areas were treated, electrical systems were updated, and the layout was refined to create a more functional and welcoming space.
Additional improvements included:• Updated lighting throughout• New ceiling fans in each room• Motion-sensor lighting in the laundry area• Drywall replacing outdated paneling• Moisture-resistant drywall in key locations• Craftsman-style trim details• Behr Roman Plaster finish throughout
The result is a brighter, cleaner, and more functional space that is ready for the next phase of improvements.
