Results you can actually see! Back in April this was nothing but a wet hole, but now it’s dry as can be! Once this trench is worked down with tillage, you’ll never be able to tell that it once held water!

Wrapped up on the farm we moved to last evening, and moved the the next! With every farm we get moved to, it seems like we get another call and add another one to the list! As the list keeps getting crossed off it still continues to grow!

Yesterday day another farm of tile fixes was knocked off the list and ended it with moving to the next farm!

What started off with the machines from chasing the combines ended up finishing with the machines racing a drag line! Little delay in between from an afternoon of knocking off the dust on the farming skills! Many more fixes on this farm than the amount of pictures in this post! These pictures include causes of the issue, post fix before being gravel, and post being gravel, with all fixes being covered with gravel before being backfilled! You’ll see in one of the pictures below of a black tile that has collapsed, this is why it’s always important to never use tap tees on single wall tile because the tile isn’t strong enough to support it overtime and eventually either the tap tee pops out or the main collapses causing the tap tee to pop out and create a suck hole!

A quick in and out for this drainage project! Started in on Tuesday and moved out Wednesday evening! Tied in a 6” to the county the main, and with 3 4” laterals off of the 6”! Quite a bit of water collects into one area, not only will the tile that we installed help with this issue, just opening up the ground with our trenches will help tremendously! Also checkout the rock that was only 2’ below the surface in one of our runs we had to dig out!

Was finally able to get this project finished up at the beginning of this week after waiting for river rock to be delivered! Brought in top soil to bring everything smooth along with shaping the ground underneath the river rock between the house and shop to direct the water toward the driveway rather than towards the shop! Everything with triple seeded with grass as we worked the soil around so it was continuously getting incorporated into the soil with a final seeding on the surface! Far from being a landscaper but I’d say this turned out pretty darn well! Can’t wait until spring to come back and get photos with all the fresh grass growing!
