Batten down the hatches! If you live in the PNW, a bomb cyclone 🌀 is on its way this evening. Take a quick spin around your garden to pick up any light weight items and secure any top-heavy containers. We're doing a final deadheading of roses today and reducing wind rock. Enjoy the storm.🌬️🏔️🌨️

Do you love nasturtiums? So do the blackfly! Nasturtiums are cheerful and dirt simple to plant from seed. At some point during the summer, these aphids always seem to find them. This is totally normal and expected. We plant nasturtiums, in part, so that the blackfly find them first, before they colonize our client's most favored plants. Simply thank the nasturtiums for their service and snip the blackfly away.

This particular Lantana was a new one for me this season and boy, it's a fun one! 🎉 Passion Fruit Lantana is a trailer and plays very well with pinks, yellow, and orange. Heat and drought tolerant and loved by butterflies, hummingbirds, and pollinators. 🦋🐝
