A Maine man is facing charges for allegedly using a snow plow to hurl snow and ice at a group of protesters.

The Rockland Police Department says 65-year-old Michael Robinson was arrested Saturday for allegedly driving a snow plow alongside approximately 75 protesters Chapman Park. According to police, the plow hurled snow and ice at people with enough force that some were knocked to the ground.

Robinson was booked into the Knox County Jail on charges of felony reckless conduct with a dangerous weapon and driving to endanger.

The weekly protests against "fascism" organized by The Audacity C.A.T. (Creative Action Together) have been going on for a little more than a year, with participants primarily carrying signs decrying U.S. Immigrations and Customs Enforcement actions.

"The Rockland Police Department maintains that while we support the right to peaceful assembly, we will not tolerate violence, theft, or any criminal behavior intended to intimidate or harm members of our community," police say.

Mr. Plow LLC is officially closed for the 2025–2026 winter season.

This year didn’t bring much snow to Central Oregon — and while we didn’t get the big storms we all remember from back in the day, we’re still grateful for every commercial lot and residential driveway that trusted us when the flakes did fly.

Running a plow truck isn’t just about pushing snow — it’s insurance, maintenance, de-icer, fuel, and being ready at 2:00 a.m. whether it storms or not. This winter just didn’t stack up, and that’s okay. That’s Oregon.

The truck’s cleaned up, fluids checked, batteries on maintainers, and she’s parked inside until next season.

🔥 MR. PLOW IS OPEN FOR BUSINESS! 🔥

Woke up to that beautiful white blanket this morning and you already know what that means… game on. About an inch out there — not a heavy, wet mess, just clean, manageable snow. Perfect conditions to get in, get it handled, and keep everything safe and moving.

Knocked out one of our commercial sites first thing — making sure patients can get in and out of the dental clinic safely. Sidewalks clear. Entryways clean. No surprises underfoot. That’s what we do.

Then rolled through two residentials — driveways opened up, sidewalks cleaned off, and a little preventative de-icing laid down so if this wants to do a little something extra tomorrow, we’re already ahead of it.

This is why we do it.
