Haven't made a post in a while. We have just been swamped, trying to keep up with work and making everyone happy. Which is an impossible task but we are trying our best so thank you all for your love and support. If you are waiting for your turn to get repairs or painting done from us, we will make sure it was worth the wait.
On top of already being swamped, I almost lost the tip of my middle finger a couple days ago. I was replacing some beams in a barn and one smashed the top of my finger in a way that almost cut it off... 12 stitches later I should be good to go.
I once finished restoring a barn in the middle of winter after having a 12 inch rod put in my left leg after an accident that broke my tibia and fibula, that was my only option. That one was not work related, my finger was the first ever work accident, and hopefully the last 🙏 We try our best to take all precautions needed but even having 80+ years combined experience there is still a high danger with the work we do.
I'm sharing all of this to let everyone know, Im not ignoring you, I don't mean to run behind. We are a small business and try to go as fast as we can, but I value quality over how fast I can get through your job. So I unintentionally run behind sometimes.
Thank you for your understanding!

****" FYI the last few pictures are of my finger so if you don't do injuries well, here's your heads up not to scroll that far.****

I will be reaching out this week to the next few customers to let you know we are running a little behind schedule but you won't be forgotten. Thank you all we truly appreciate each and every one of you. Hope everyone has a safe and blessed 4th of July, Happy 250th birthday America, in God we trust God bless Amen 🙏

Here's a few pictures of a barn that has a pretty cool history with our family. In the 90's, they reached out to my uncle Terry Stitt for some repair work, and he even turned a different disassembled barn into a garage for them. Throughout his career as a barn carpenter, he strove to restore barns uniquely by paying attention to the craftsmanship of each original builder and matching it. Although I didn't learn directly from Terry, several brothers of the Stitt family took on the trade and have their own unique way of preserving barns. But all have the same goal, to preserve them in a way that honors the original builder and to keep them standing for years to come. We've worked for the owners of this barn on and off for the past three years and they are a pleasure to work for.

These pictures show that you don't have to get all of the work done at one time and that we will work over time to fit your budget.

The final picture shows the owners with their granddaughter.

Hope everyone is doing well I know it has been a while since our last post. God has blessed us with so much work, we have been working non-stop to keep up. Thank you all who support us in saving as many barns in Michigan and surrounding states as we can! Here are some photos of recent work we have completed. No job too big or small, we do them all from fixing field stone foundations to painting metal roofs and everything in between. Have a blessed day!

Another thing we have been working on to set us apart from other companies are custom made Barn Quilts!

Prices start at $250 for a 4ftx4ft and increase depending on the complexity of design, size and colors.

We can install it starting at $250, depending on where you are located.

We can help you get set up to request your quilt on one of Michigan's barn quilt tours (if you want to be on a tour, there are stipulations that have to be met as far as size and design, so that is something to consider)

We are so thankful for all this nice weather! We have been getting a lot of work done. Recently we did some siding replacement in Big Rapids and some barn surgery in Gun Lake, now back to installing more siding on the big Belmont project. Thank you all for your continued business and support. We are so blessed!

Hey everyone,we hope everyone is having a good start to your year.
We started our year off working on a few projects for two different repeat customers in the Gun Lake and Rockford area.
We don't always work on pole barns, but for this repeat customer in Rockford, we like to help where we can. We replaced the old rotten header and some of the nailers.
In Gun Lake, we're going to be picking back up where we left off in the beam replacement process. This is a good example of us working with your budget. We can always make repairs in stages.
Thank you for everyone's love and support.
God bless!

This project has been our biggest job we have done to date. we fixed 2/3 of the original field stone foundation, of 1/3 of the structure, 3/4 of it has all new siding.
this barn now stands like it did originally and will for many years to come. we are still going back to do more siding and adding a big door on the south side.
we did get about 10 other jobs done in addition to this one this year. with big projects like this, there's often a lot of waiting on material.
There's not many better feelings than getting to help save someone's childhood memories. this is what we do, we save barns and we will work with your schedule and budget.
please reach out for a free estimate and lets get your barn looking new again.
Enjoy this slideshow of the process!
