Small but mighty at May’s ASCE Cup Field Day. 💪

Our Lumos & Associates team had a great time at the ASCE Truckee Meadows Branch and YMF Cup Field Day event at Galena High School, competing alongside several local engineering firms in the 4x1 relay, three-legged race, marble race, and co****le.

With only three Lumos team members, plus a fellow ASCE member who jumped in to help round out the team, they still worked their way to an impressive 4th-place finish!

Events like these are such a fun way to connect with our industry peers, build community, and spend time together outside of the workday. They are also a great reminder that our industry is built on more than engineering and design. It is built on relationships, collaboration, and people showing up to support one another.

A big thank you to our team members who showed up, jumped in, and represented Lumos so well. Your enthusiasm and teamwork are part of what make Lumos such a great place to work.

We’re so proud of our 12 team members for completing the Reno-Tahoe Odyssey and earning 6th place in the Corporate Mixed Division. 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️

From Reno through Truckee, around Lake Tahoe, and back again, our runners took on steep climbs, late-night miles, and little sleep, all while keeping each other going.

We're incredibly proud of the effort, determination, and team spirit they brought to every mile. The Reno-Tahoe Odyssey is as much about the people beside you as it is the road ahead, and our runners embodied that spirit from start to finish.

Congratulations to our team members on an amazing accomplishment. We can't wait to do it all again next year! 🎉

Intern Bootcamp Week is officially in the books! 🚀

We welcomed our summer interns to Reno from Boise, Roseville, El Dorado Hills, and Carson City for a week of learning, connection, and fun.

They got a behind-the-scenes look at how we work, met the people they'll be collaborating with this summer, and experienced what makes Lumos special.

And of course, there was no shortage of team bonding. Between tacos, an ice cream truck, and a friendly competition to build the strongest paper-link chain, there were plenty of opportunities to build relationships before diving into summer projects.

We're excited to watch this talented group grow, learn, and make an impact over the coming months. Welcome to the team, we can't wait to see what you'll accomplish. 👏
