Master Service Plumbing is looking for an experienced Estimator to join our pre-construction team. If you've got a sharp eye for numbers, know your way around blueprints, and enjoy building relationships with subs, vendors, and clients, we'd love to talk.
---WHAT YOU'LL DO:
* Review project plans, specs, and scope of work for plumbing/mechanical systems
* Prepare detailed cost estimates for commercial, institutional, healthcare, and industrial projects
* Solicit and manage subcontractor and supplier bids
* Track down bid opportunities through plan rooms and contractor outreach
* Build and maintain budgets, then help manage them to meet or beat profit goals
* Present estimates clearly to project execs, PMs, and ops staff
* Handle change orders, submittals, and project setup after award
* Keep relationships strong with contractors, vendors, and clients long after the bid is in
--WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:
* Strong blueprint/plan reading skills and solid construction math
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills
* Comfortable juggling multiple bids and deadlines with minimal supervision
* Tech-savvy and proficient with Microsoft Office and estimating/plan room software
* 3+ years of plumbing estimating experience preferred
* BS in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field a plus; CPE certification a plus
Compensation: DOE and VERY competitive
