We remember. We honor. We will never forget.

On this day, 25 years ago, our country was shaken. The tone of our nation shifted, and our lives were forever changed.

I still remember exactly where I was when I learned of what had happened. I still remember the shock of watching the second tower being hit live on the news for us all to see. I remember the sorrow and the time we spent mourning the 2,977 victims whose lives were taken that day.

On this day, our country came to a halt. But in the days and years that followed, we also saw incredible strength, compassion, and community. We came together to mourn, to support one another, and to begin rebuilding.

We remember and honor this day so that future generations understand the hurt and sorrow we experienced, but also the strength and unity that emerged from it.

May we always remember those we lost, honor those who served, and never forget the resilience of a nation that stood together.

🇺🇸 Never Forget.

A tragedy can cause two injuries.
The first is the event itself.
The second happens when people feel abandoned, unsupported, or alone afterward.
At TIP of Northern Nevada, we exist to help prevent that second injury.
Because while we can't change what happened, we can change how someone experiences the moments that follow.
❤️ No one should have to face trauma alone.

Happy Independence Day!
