🏡✨ Clark Griswold thought a new house would solve all his problems. We know sometimes all you need is a shed makeover. ✨🏡

This shed was looking a little tired after years of battling Missouri sun, rain, wind, and whatever else Mother Nature decided to throw at it.

You know that scene in Vacation where Clark finally fixes something around the house… and immediately stands back like he just built the Hoover Dam?

Yeah… that was us today in the heat!

Freshened up these garage posts by adding clean trim details up top, giving everything a rich new stain, and swapping out the outdated light fixtures for something a little less “1987 campground restroom.”

Amazing what a few simple upgrades can do to make the whole front of a house feel cleaner, sharper, and way more welcoming.

No exploding sewer lines.
No moose mugs.
Just solid craftsmanship and a garage facelift Clark Griswold would proudly plug 40,000 Christmas lights into.

This week Finley River Handyman rolled into Kimberling City, Missouri like Clark Griswold pulling into Vegas with a pocket full of dreams and absolutely no plan.

The mission? Bring this weathered deck back from the dead.

After a full power washing, years of dirt, grime, algae, and lake-life memories disappeared faster than Cousin Eddie at an all-you-can-eat buffet. Then we laid down a fresh coat of stain that made this deck look like it just hit the jackpot.

Could we rush jobs to get to everyone faster? Sure.

But around here, we’d rather do it right than do it twice.

That’s why we’re often booked out. Every project gets the same attention we’d give our own home. No shortcuts. No watered-down work. No “good enough.”

So if you’re waiting on our schedule, thank you. We truly appreciate your patience, and we promise the finished product is worth waiting for.

Every now and then we’re asked, “Can you just cover it up?” or “Can you just do the minimum?”

The answer is simple: No.

Whether it’s mold, fungal growth, water damage, rotten wood, structural issues, or anything else that could affect the safety and health of a homeowner, we believe in fixing problems the right way—not the cheapest way, not the fastest way, and definitely not in a way that leaves the next homeowner holding the bag.

If we put our name on a project, we want to be proud of it. That means addressing the cause, not just the symptom. It means telling customers the truth, even when it’s not what they want to hear. And it means sleeping well at night knowing we didn’t pass a problem on to someone else’s family.

Our reputation is built on honesty, quality workmanship, and treating every home as if our own family was moving into it next.
