I am wiring this home in Harshaw area. Just before fishing season starts. Monday I cut open my forearm carrying in a bundle of duct, wrapped it up to stop the bleeding, then back to Rhine Aspirus ER to get stiched up. Someone said did they cut it off- nope thank goodness. I didn’t think to take a photo but the nurse did. I love nurses. Work is not getting done that day, except on me.

Problem is we need to add 50 amps electric range circuit and we already have all electric heat. The old panel is obsolete and a potential fire hazard. Upgrade to 200 amp panel. Utility company says no back guy support for the service mast, so trench in underground service. Each cabin is owned by a veterans group who give the go ahead . Builder buddy and myself are US Air Force Veterans. He did the concrete removal and poured new sidewalk.

Me and builder buddy installed a used standby generator, new electric service moved to other side of the house. He found generator and the transfer switch panel. A lot of work involved a power cuttover from the old meter to the new one, making connections, burying new ground rods and all the gas piping not to mention paperwork to upgrade the gas meter for to coordinate added gas pressure demands from the utility company
