This home still had its original 1980s aluminum single-pane windows, complete with storm windows and cracked glass.

We replaced them with new energy-efficient double-pane vinyl windows in Almond—and what a difference.

Not only did we clean up the look of this beautiful curved window, but the homeowners now have:

We believe in reviews—the good and the bad. If you have a poor experience with a company, you absolutely have the right to share it. Reviews hold businesses accountable and help other homeowners make informed decisions.

But please, make sure you’re reviewing the right business.

We recently received a 1-star review describing a bad experience with a door-to-door salesperson in The Woodlands.

The problem? It wasn’t us.

Paragon Window Company does not service The Woodlands. We don’t door knock. And the employee named in the review has never worked for our company.

For a large corporation, one mistaken review may be a drop in the bucket. For a small, local business like ours, every review affects a reputation we’ve worked incredibly hard to build.

So please—leave the good reviews. Leave the bad ones when they’re deserved. Just take an extra minute to make sure your experience is being attached to the business that actually provided it.

đŸȘŸ Be cautious with aftermarket tint or window film. Some films can trap heat and may even affect your window warranty. Always check with the manufacturer first.

đŸȘŸ Don’t force a window that suddenly feels difficult to open or close. Extreme heat can cause materials to expand, and forcing it can damage the hardware.

đŸȘŸ Check your caulking and seals. Texas heat and UV exposure can cause exterior sealants to deteriorate over time.

And if you’re feeling a surprising amount of heat coming through your windows, that may be a sign it’s time to have them evaluated.
