I just want to take a moment to say thank you from the bottom of my heart. Your support, encouragement, and kindness have meant the world to me through some really challenging times. Every message, every gesture, every bit of understanding has reminded me that I’m not alone—and that community can be a true lifeline.

I’m grateful for each of you who has stood by me, listened, or simply sent good vibes my way. Your support has carried me farther than I can put into words, and I hope I can pay it forward in the same way.
From the bottom of my heart—thank you.

Dolbear's Law: The law states that if you count a crickets chirps for 15 seconds and then add 40, the result is an approximate measure of ambient temperature in degrees Fahrenheit.

Check out this chirp converter from the National Weather Service: www.weather.gov/epz/wxcalc_cricketconvert

Because crickets are cold-blooded, their muscles move slower in cooler temperatures and faster when it’s warm, which allows them to rub their wings together more quickly and produce that familiar “chirping” sound. That means the faster the chirps, the warmer it is outside.

More than a century ago, physicist Amos Dolbear translated this phenomenon into a practical formula — now called Dolbear’s Law — to estimate the temperature in degrees Fahrenheit. The law states that if you count a cricket’s chirps for 15 seconds and then add 40, the result is an approximate measure of the ambient temperature.

Hello, green thumbs! 🌿

What garden adventures did you get up to this weekend? We’d love to hear every dirt-smudged detail.

Here’s our own backyard bulletin: we sowed fresh grass seed last week, then treated our Sycamore—who’s sporting the classic case of Anthracnose—to a spa day with fertilizer stakes and smart watering instead of heavy-duty chemicals. 💚🌳

The roses and hydrangeas got a nutrient boost (we’ll divide them later), the boxwood enjoyed a tidy trim, and we fine-tuned the irrigation schedule for peak plant happiness.

So—what’s been blooming, pruning, or perking up in your patch of paradise? Share your weekend wins (and lessons learned)! 🌱✨

*High Wind Watch*

If we've recommended monitoring your tree for ground movement during the next wind storm, tonight would be an excellent time for that!

Please remember to be very careful under trees during high winds, watch and listen for broken/breaking limbs.

Please also let us know what you observe!
