Every year, Absolute Painting & Drywall makes it a goal to find one person or family in our community who is truly in need and bless them with painting services at no cost.

Our business has been incredibly blessed over the years. This community has allowed us to earn a good living doing what we love, and we believe it’s important to give something back to the people who have helped make that possible.

This year, we are once again looking for someone who could genuinely use a helping hand.

I want to be very clear about something, and I hope it’s received with the understanding and compassion with which it’s intended.

Over the years, we’ve unfortunately had situations where individuals have attempted to take advantage of this opportunity. Being retired, elderly, or unemployed does not automatically mean someone is financially in need. Our goal is to help someone who truly cannot afford to have this work done themselves.

The people we hope to reach are those who may have nowhere else to turn.

❤️ An elderly widow or widower who has worked hard their entire life, owns their home, but has exhausted their savings and simply cannot afford to maintain it.

❤️ Someone living with a disability who survives on a limited fixed income and has little to no savings.

❤️ A single mother or father raising children, working hard to make ends meet, and living paycheck to paycheck.

❤️ A person or family facing genuine financial hardship whose home desperately needs attention but who simply doesn’t have the means to pay for it.

These are just examples. We understand that hardship comes in many different forms, and every situation deserves to be considered individually.

Our only requirement is that the need be genuine.

Because we’ve encountered situations in the past where people weren’t entirely honest about their circumstances, we may need to ask a few personal questions to help us make the right decision. We will approach those conversations with respect, compassion, and discretion. This is not about judging anyone’s circumstances. It’s about making sure this opportunity reaches someone who truly needs it.

If you know someone who deserves a helping hand, we would love for you to nominate them! Please reach out to us privately and tell us a little about their situation.

Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee that everyone nominated will be selected. We are a small business, and while we wish we could help everyone, our resources are limited.

At Absolute Painting & Drywall, we believe that success isn’t measured only by what you earn, but also by what you’re able to give back.

We don’t do this for recognition or publicity. We do it because we know how difficult life can be, and sometimes something as simple as a fresh coat of paint can make a world of difference to someone who has been struggling.
