Clean the Bay Day has been a longstanding tradition across Virginia’s Chesapeake Bay region for more than three decades, and our Hampton Roads team is always proud to be part of the effort.
This year, the team helped remove more than 230 pounds of trash from local waterways and shorelines. Through the continued support of volunteers and community partners, Clean the Bay Day has made a lasting impact on the health and sustainability of the Chesapeake Bay watershed.

Yesterday, STRUCTR marked Earth Day with a Lunch & Learn about the future of sustainable building and certification systems, led by our Sustainability Manager, Sydney Covey.
From the continued growth of LEED, WELL, and Green Globes to the increasing role of legislation, the conversation focused on how expectations are shifting across the industry.
As sustainability frameworks move closer to becoming standard practice, the distinction between voluntary leadership and baseline compliance is quickly shrinking. The discussion also explored key topics like material transparency, PFAS, and emerging initiatives such as Design for Freedom.
