Virginia Grain Producers Association

Virginia Grain Producers Association The Virginia Grain Producers Association is dedicated to promoting and advocating for the interests of Virginia's corn and small grains producers.

VGPA provides its members with resources they need to succeed in a rapidly changing agricultural landscape. VGPA’s strategic plan focuses on Market Infrastructure, Media, Influence and Information Technology. Our association’s resources combined with staff and Board efforts include leadership meetings and travel, five annual events and producer programs implemented to support busy grain producers and Virginia’s corn and small grains industries.

New markets for corn and small grains are central to the mission of VGPA. Companies like Aerterra are helping to advance that mission. Aerterra produces air filters made using corn-based materials, creating a sustainable product while supporting demand for U.S. corn. Through our partnership with the National Corn Growers Association, members can receive an exclusive discount on Aerterra filters. It’s a great opportunity to support a company that is finding innovative ways to put the corn our farmers grow to work. Click the link below for more information.

NCGA partners with Consider Corn Challenge V winner, Aerterra, an American air filtration company, to offer member exclusive savings on subscriptions for their innovative air filters made from corn. Each filter utilizes 0.0625 bushels of corn and helps maintain cleaner, healthier indoor air.  ...

VGPA is heading home after an incredible week at Commodity Classic — celebrating 30 years of bringing America’s farmers together under one roof. What an honor to represent Virginia agriculture on the floor at Corn Congress and in meaningful conversations with industry partners from across the country.

From policy discussions to partnership opportunities, we made sure the voice of Virginia grain producers was heard loud and clear. Every handshake, every meeting, every vote — it was all about advocating for the family farmers who make our Commonwealth strong.

To our membership: thank you for entrusting us to carry your priorities forward. We don’t take that responsibility lightly. Your work in the field fuels our work in the room.

Thirty years of Commodity Classic. Countless conversations. Stronger connections. And a renewed commitment to Virginia’s corn and small grains producers.

Now… back to the Commonwealth.

Stronger Together for Virginia Agriculture.

The Virginia Grain Producers Association (VGPA) was proud to stand shoulder-to-shoulder with fellow commodity partners from across the Commonwealth to host a Legislative Ag Breakfast & Day on the Hill at the General Assembly.

When corn, wheat, soybeans, cattle, poultry, dairy, and industry giants come together with one voice, we amplify the impact of Virginia agriculture. This event wasn’t just about breakfast — it was about building relationships, sharing real-world stories from our farms, and ensuring lawmakers understand the policies that directly affect producers across Virginia.

Advocacy matters — and when agriculture unites, we are impossible to ignore.

Thank you to our legislative champions and commodity partners who continue to invest their time and leadership to protect and strengthen farming in the Commonwealth.

🌽 One industry.
🌾 Many commodities.
🇺🇸 One powerful voice for Virginia agriculture.
