Yzzo Studios Yzzo Studios creates functional works of art from steel. I specialize in furniture, home goods, decorative security, and sculpture.

Whenever possible, I reuse and up-cycle interesting manufactured objects, such as steel scraps, car parts, and industrial items. I also do custom steel fabrication. Wesley Skinner, the principal, is an East-Bay based artist and metal fabricator. Wes was schooled in welding and fabrication through working on large-scale metal art installations with the Flux Foundation, as well as classes at The Cru

cible. He was so inspired that he decided to pursue metalworking as a career. Formerly in marketing and advertising, you will now find him happily playing with a welder and a grinder outside at his North Oakland shop.
