Capozzo & Sons Excavating We are a family owned and operated business specializing in residential and commercial excavating and trucking. Capozzo and Sons Excavating, Inc.

Check out our website or contact us for more detailed information! started in 1970 as Capozzo's Grading and Dozing, at that time we strictly did bulldozer work. It was founded by the current president Tony Capozzo, who is still very active in the business today. In 1992, we became incorporated and changed from a grading to a complete excavating company capable of providing many different services. Today Tony works very closely with his 2 sons, Charlie and Nick, which makes our company a true family oriented business. We take a great deal of pride in our work going the extra mile to make sure our customers receive only the best service and quality of work. Capozzo and Sons care about you and the community and are proud members and supporters of the Lions Clubs and their charities. We are also members of the Better Business Bureau, licensed & insured, and are MDot pre-qualified; "WE CARE ABOUT YOU".

We have been out planting pine trees over the last few days. This has been a fun project with a great customer. The guys built a big 350' x 10' high berm they are planting the trees on. We also did driveway work, pipe work for down spouts, subgrade work for concrete in new barn, finish graded, grass seeded, and straw mulched. Such an awesome new house in Bruce Twp. We are happy to say that we were able to put finishing touches on the outside.

It is with very heavy hearts we announce the passing of our friend, mentor and fellow team member Dave Tyson. Dave has been a family friend for well over 50 years and employee with Capozzo and Sons for many years. Dave was a friend and father figure to everyone at Capozzo and Sons. Dave loved his family, enjoyed pulling his Case Tractor which he did for well over 50 years and believe it or not loved working. Dave was a breath of fresh air at work, he kept all of us in line and on our toes. Dave was a human map and you better know where you were sending him and how to get there or you would face his challenge. Dave will be missed more than words can express. Please keep Dave's family and friends in your prayers during this difficult time.
