When the Army Reserves moved me to Richmond in 2011 I had no idea I would end up staying and starting such a unique micro business. A decade later and a hundred or so satisfied clients I am ever expanding. If I had to sum my strengths up in a word, it would be flexible. You’re only dealing with me, and with the rare exception of my father and two beautiful daughters accompanying me, I have built e
verything you see by myself. So if you want or need to make a change there is no corporate hierarchy you need to sift through to make your dream a reality. I specialize in floating unattached decks that can have a cemented foundation if you want, pergolas, and screen rooms, but have dabbled in a bunch of other projects as well. So don’t procrastinate any longer and give me a call or shoot me an email to get this project started. The fine print :-) I am licensed/insured and can provide references, yay. I take a 50% deposit that buys and preps most materials at my home for assembly at yours. Two ways to look at this as a positive, contractors typically take 25-30% deposit because their labor is 70-75 %(nobody buys materials on their own dime), and this allows me to keep the saw dust and most of the noise out of your yard which the neighbors appreciate as I start early and work late. I typically only need a cordless driver and a few ladders to assemble the completely prepared kit. Speaking of prepared kit, if you can send me a picture of the area you propose to build in and at least some rough dimensions I can get you a good quote within the day. As I mentioned I am a micro business where I only work on weekends and days off from my full time government job so slots go fast. I have no problem doing a site survey if you are ready with the deposit, but I typically don’t need to in order to give you a quote and move forward (and yes my quotes include materials as I get that question a lot, what I quote is typically exactly what you pay unless I end up needing more materials from a change by you.) I think that about covers it and I look forward to working on your project.
