Capital Fire and Water, a locally owned and operated restoration company, is currently seeking a restoration/mitigation technician to join the team. This is a full-time position that entails assisting in removing damaged building materials/contents, drying structures, extracting water and completing other tasks to help restore our customers' homes.

Responsibilities:

-Respond to emergency fire and water assignments daily
-Removing damaged and/or wet building materials
-Set up drying equipment to aid in drying of structure
-Utilize equipment to take moisture readings, measurements, etc.
-Take direction from Crew Chief on the jobsite and assist other team
members as needed
-Complete duties as assigned and participate in on-call rotation

Qualifications:

-Previous experience in general construction, water mitigation, mold
remediation and fire/smoke services is preferred, but not required.
-General construction knowledge is a plus.
-Ability to lift, push or pull over 50 lbs
-Ability to multi-task and work in a team environment
-Professional appearance and attitude
-Valid driver's license and clean driving record
-Ability to pass background check

Hourly Compensation: $13.00-$18.00/HR (Compensation will be determined by experience, qualifications, etc.)

The crew chief position provides emergency/disaster restoration and recovery services in residential and commercial sites damaged by fire, water and/or mold. Experience Required.

Responsibilities/Qualifications:

Specialize in one or more areas of water and/or fire damage restoration, mold remediation, contents packing/moving, and/or carpet cleaning
Training provided to grow your skills and knowledge about the restoration industry
Accomplish restoration projects independently or as part of a team in a timely manner
Excellent customer service skills on all projects
Being on time for work and assignments is a priority
Strong work ethic, positive attitude and professional appearance at all times
Valid driver's license
Must pass a background check
Duties may include removing/disposing of non-salvageable materials, light demolition and construction, water extraction, removing/disposing of non-salvageable materials, light demolition and construction packing out and moving of contents, deodorizing affected area and contents, carpet/upholstery cleaning and general cleaning.

Requirements:

Experience in the Restoration field and/or certifications
Ability to lift, carry, push or pull 50lbs or more
Valid Driver's License and ability to pass a background check
Ability to drive company vehicles (Sprinter-style vans, box truck, etc.)
Ability to climb stairs and stand on your feet on hard surfaces throughout the day
Ability to multi-task and work in a team environment
Hourly Compensation: $18.00-$25.00/HR (Compensation will be determined by experience, certifications, etc.)

Responsibilities Include:

>Cleaning duties including, but not limited to cleaning floors and structural surfaces, washing walls, cleaning windows, removing debris, etc.

>Consistently performing detailed post-construction cleaning of residential and commercial properties.

>Packing, cleaning, and deodorizing customer belongings and contents.

>Creating inventory lists of the customer's contents.

>Providing extraordinary customer service.

>Performing assigned work in a timely manner.

>Regularly communicating with project managers and other team members.

Qualifications:

>Experience with detailed contents/structure cleaning and packing is preferred, but not required.

>Ability to work well in a team environment

>Strong customer service skills

>Professional appearance and demeanor at all times

>Valid driver's license and clean driving record

>Ability to pass background check

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $14.00 - $19.00 per hour (determined by experience)

A fire can be extremely devastating and has the potential to cause severe damage to your home or business, not to mention it will seriously disrupt your life. Our team at Capital Fire & Water has the expertise, experience and equipment to handle every step of the fire restoration process and will help to return your life to normal in a flash.

We offer emergency board-up and roof tarp services, packing and moving of your contents to off-site climate-controlled storage located at our warehouse, detailed cleaning of contents, any necessary demo of structural materials that are beyond repair, structural soot cleaning and odor removal using specialized equipment and products, and finally the repairs necessary to make your house a home again.
