From resurfacing cycles and pavement design to Virginia roadways that have remained structurally sound for 50+ years, the article challenges some common assumptions about pavement longevity and explores how long-life and perpetual asphalt pavements continue to deliver value to roadway owners and the traveling public.

⚾ What a great 2nd Annual VAA Day at the ballpark! 🧢

We had an awesome time this past Saturday cheering on the Richmond Flying Squirrels at the new CarMax Park stadium and spending the evening with so many of our VAA members! Great company, good food, cold drinks, and baseball made for a fun summer night together. That Atlantic Union Bank Lounge was a perfect spot to stay cool during the hot August evening.

Blake joined VAA on July 16 as our new Administrative & Operations Specialist. He brings a strong background in association management, operations, financial administration, project management, and event coordination, along with a passion for serving members and building meaningful relationships.

Over the coming months, Blake will work alongside Caroline Fahed as she prepares for her well-earned retirement at the end of the year, ensuring a seamless transition for our members and partners.
