I started KC’s cleanouts 10 years ago today. I had absolutely no idea what I was doing. I built it from the ground up every decision right or wrong was mine to make. I made so many mistakes, but that was half the fun of it. To all the great real estate agents, contractors, my wonderful accountant. All the people that chose
KC’s cleanouts to do their projects over the past 10 years , thank you from the bottom of my heart.
Number one thing I learned about being a business owner is that it can be a roller coaster ride sometimes, the phone rings, sometimes it doesn’t. Never get too high or too low . Success to me isn’t how much money you make. Sometimes when I pick up my phone and it’s a customer on the other end and I realize I created that someone was sitting in their house picked up their phone and called me. It’s wild that’s always been success to me. You can never build anything alone and I’ve had the best team around me, even though I have the final say. Nothing has ever happened that I didn’t run past my dad. His support has meant the world to me. Also, the team of people anyone who has ever worked for me, especially Joe Williams and Chris Fitzgerald . I couldn’t have done it without you guys. My wife who has to put up with me when I’m stressed frustrated tired as f**k. thank you always being there for me. The main reason I work so hard is so that I could look at my boys and tell them they can build anything they want in this world if theyre willing to put in the work . Thank you for giving me the opportunity to do what I love.
