We’re proud to recognize Ross for his proactive commitment to safety in his community.

After noticing that a construction crew had left for the day, Ross spotted a potential hazard—a road plate that was no longer properly marked after the surrounding traffic cones had been knocked over. Understanding the risk this posed to drivers, he took immediate action and reset the cones to clearly mark the area.

Ross’s quick thinking and willingness to step in made a real difference in keeping others safe.

We are excited to be featured in the Altoona Mirror on February 24th!

Our crew was photographed installing a new gas line for Peoples Natural Gas in front of Hometown Market in Hollidaysburg, PA.
Projects like this may not always be visible once completed, but they play a critical role in keeping our neighborhoods running safely and efficiently.

Frankie turned in a Share Card about the frozen ground at the start of the day. As it warmed up, everything started to thaw — and the job site quickly turned muddy and slick.

Because Frankie spoke up early, the crew got a heads-up about the changing conditions and a reminder to watch their step. That kind of awareness helps prevent slips, trips, and falls.

We’re proud to share the completion of a Regulating Station Build in Delaware by the Allegheny Contracting team.

The goal was to step down high-pressure gas from a transmission pipeline and lower the pressure for safe local distribution. Allegheny delivered a safe, high-quality project from the ground up.

What really makes projects like this successful is the people behind the work - our amazing crews who show up every day with skill, pride, and a strong commitment to safety, which reflects in the quality of what they deliver.

Speaking up about safety really does make a difference.

Congrats to Austin Hoag, our December Share Card winner, for sharing a near-miss that highlights why staying alert and using the right safety controls matters. During pressure testing, a 1-inch test head ejected from a service pipe—but thanks to a whip check on the air hose, everything was quickly controlled, and no one was hurt.

This is why we encourage everyone to recognize hazards and share what they see. Austin’s willingness to speak up helps keep his crew—and others—stay safe!

Project Updates Across Pennsylvania

In Western PA, our team recently completed a spherical installation on a 10” mainline, performing in-service work to support a new station build for our customer.

In Central PA, we are installing a new station to support a growing housing development. Our crews are utilizing safety and skilled trades while determined to beat the cold weather to keep customers warm throughout the winter season.
