HDD Driller / Foreman – Utility Work

📍 Rifle, CO (Western Slope)

We’re hiring an experienced HDD Driller / Foreman for steady utility work based out of Rifle, CO. Looking for someone who can run Vermeer drills, lead a crew, and take ownership of the bore.

What You’ll Be Doing
• Operate Vermeer HDD rigs
• Drill utility bores (gas, water, electric, communications)
• Read prints and maintain bore accuracy
• Work with locator and crew to safely complete installs
• Lead a 3–4 man crew
• Handle basic jobsite planning and communication

Requirements
• HDD drilling experience (utility preferred)
• CDL or ability to obtain CDL
• Comfortable drilling in rocky conditions
• Able to work independently and make good calls in the field
• Strong safety mindset

Pay & Perks

💰 $28–$40/hr (DOE & qualifications)
🚐 RV hookups available
🏕️ RV may be available for the right candidate
🛠️ Well-maintained equipment
📅 Consistent local/regional work (home most nights)

Yesterday, while traveling E on I70 our truck and trailer with our drill was ran off the road around 10am while we started the trek upvalley just outside of Silt.

We want to send our utmost gratitude to everyone involved, everyone walked away UNHARMED!
CDot, State patrol your work on this interstate is a job that puts your lives in danger each and every day while helping our community, there are not enough words to truly express how appreciated you are!

We are thankful everyday for the work our employees put in and services we are able to provide. Yesterday was especially met with an overwhelming tribute to the young man who was driving for us and kept the entire rig from flipping or blocking the interstate that could have caused a serious pile up. To our other driver that was following behind but was able to stop in time!

A sincere thank you to all that have reached out to us and that support our business but also care about our wellbeing and the remarkable crew we employ!
