Our crews begin by hanging drain mat against the shoring wall, the temporary wall system that holds the surrounding soil in place during excavation. This creates a drainage path and helps manage water around the foundation.

💧 Step 2: Install PREPRUFE® Membrane

PREPRUFE® waterproofing membrane is installed over the drain mat, creating a continuous waterproof barrier before any concrete is poured.

💧 Step 3: Pour the Foundation Wall

Once the waterproofing system is in place, the foundation wall is poured directly against the PREPRUFE® membrane.

💧 Step 4: Permanent Bond Formation

As the concrete cures, it bonds directly to the PREPRUFE® membrane. This unique bond prevents water from traveling between the concrete and the waterproofing system.
