Don't even think it's time to stop planting! Here's a few reasons to start setting up for fall:
Example Planting Schedule :
Late August/Early September: Start broccoli, Brussels sprouts, cabbage, and cauliflower indoors.
September: Direct sow arugula, beets, carrots, lettuce, radishes, spinach, and turnips.
Early October: Transplant broccoli, Brussels sprouts, cabbage, and cauliflower.
Throughout September and October: Harvest lettuce, radishes, and other early maturing crops.
November (before frost): Harvest remaining crops like broccoli, kale, and spinach.
