In the first picture you can see a couple little holes in the stubbed out galvanized line. These little holes cost the home owner $800 for his monthly water bill. On this same line, they had copper from the meter, then poly, then galvanized. That’s a lot of failing points. When we install a new service it will be a solid line with no connections from the stop and waste all the way into the home.
