Add water to your pool! You should be checking the water level daily. The skimmer needs to be covered 50% or usually half of the tile line. Running the pump dry can cause your system to blow or short out.

We would like to inform you that our office will be closed for the holiday period from December 22, 2023, through December 27, 2023. : Hurricane Preparedness and Pool Overflow Protocols

Dear valued customers,

At RoyaltyBlues813, your safety and satisfaction are our top priorities. With hurricane season upon us, we want to ensure that you are well-informed about the necessary precautions to take regarding your pool during severe weather conditions. In the event of a hurricane or heavy rainfall that may lead to pool overflow, we recommend following these essential protocols:

1. Secure Outdoor Furniture and Equipment:
Before the storm arrives, please remove all loose objects, such as pool furniture, toys, and equipment, from your pool area. Secure them indoors or in a safe storage area to prevent potential damage or accidents caused by strong winds.

2. Adjust Water Level:
To minimize the risk of pool overflow, we advise lowering the water level in your pool by approximately 1 to 2 feet. This precaution will provide additional capacity to accommodate excess rainfall during the storm.

3. Turn Off Pool Equipment:
Switch off all pool equipment, including pumps, heaters, and filters, at the circuit breaker. This step is essential to prevent electrical damage and potential hazards during power outages or electrical surges.

4. Cover Your Pool:
If you have a pool cover, securely fasten it in place to protect your pool from debris and minimize water accumulation. Ensure that the cover is in good condition and properly anchored to withstand strong winds.

5. Regular Inspection After the Storm:
After the hurricane or heavy rainfall has passed, we strongly advise visually inspecting your pool and its surroundings for any damage or debris. Check the pool equipment for water damage, and only restart the system once it has been deemed safe to do so.

6. Water Balance and Sanitization:
Following the storm, it is crucial to assess the water balance and sanitization of your pool. Heavy rainfall and overflow might affect the chemical composition of your pool water. Test the water and adjust the pH, chlorine levels, and other necessary parameters accordingly. If you need assistance, our team of experts is readily available to help you restore your pool to its optimal condition.

We hope that these guidelines provide you with a clear understanding of the protocols to follow during a hurricane or pool overflow. If you have any further questions, concerns, or require professional assistance, please do not hesitate to PM our customer support team.

Stay safe, and thank you for choosing RoyaltyBlues813

Sincerely,

Royalty Blues
