Apply now for Deerfield’s 2026 50/50 Tree Program. Applications close Friday, August 28.

The Village will pay half the cost to plant a tree in the parkway, bringing the resident cost to $225 per tree. Trees are 2.5 inches in diameter, balled and burlapped, guaranteed for one year and planted by the Public Works Department this fall.

Available trees include Ivory Silk Japanese Lilac for locations with utility conflicts, Swamp White Oak, Exclamation London Planetree, Chinkapin Oak, Frontier Hybrid Elm and Kentucky Coffeetree. Autumn Blaze Maple is sold out.

Trees must be planted in the parkway, not on private property. Quantities are limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis. Residents may order multiple trees, with a limit of one tree per species per household. Submit a separate application for each tree ordered.

Please monitor your tree next summer and contact the Village if you notice any concerns before the one-year guarantee expires.

Apply before August 28: https://bit.ly/4ccjfiD

250 years of freedom, resilience, and the American spirit and we’re proud to help keep that spirit strong, one backyard at a time.
From sea to shining sea, families are gathering, flags are flying, and memories are being made behind fences just like the ones we build. Solid, beautiful, and built to last exactly how America should be.
Here’s to the next 250 years of liberty, opportunity, and great neighbors.
Stay safe, celebrate big, and thank you for trusting us to protect what matters most — your home and family.
