Customer Notice: Water Meter Replacement

Valued Customers,

Please be advised that Roanoke Utilities will have a contractor begin replacing water meters next week as part of a scheduled upgrade.

What to Expect:
• Work will begin on August 11, 2025 and is expected to continue over the next six months
• Each meter replacement will take approximately 30-60 minutes.
• There may be a brief interruption in water service during the replacement process.

We appreciate your patience and cooperation as we work to improve the accuracy and reliability of our water service.

Due to weather Roanoke Utilities Board will be closed today!

Roanoke Utility Board has had a main break on Johnson Street many customers are without water or experiencing low water pressure. Our crew is working to repair the main break we are sorry for any inconvenience this may cause.

We have a water main break out on Cook Road. Some residents will have no water. Our crews are out working to get it fixed ASAP. We apologize for any inconvenience.

The main water line coming to town has just blew out. Our crew is working to correct the issue. At the moment we can't give an estimated time.
