This year's Wrangler's and Wishes event for Make a Wish was amazing as always. Sydney and I decided to go big with some items we hadn't done before. We are so incredibly grateful to Make-A-Wish North Texas for inviting our family to the ribbon-cutting ceremony for their new offices! It was a truly special day, and seeing all the amazing people who help make wishes come true was so inspiring.
A massive thank you for giving our wish kid the honor of holding the ribbon. She was absolutely beaming in her pink hoodie, and it was a moment we will never forget.

The event held at The Omni was a resounding success, thanks to the efforts of Make A Wish North Texas. Our art pieces were well-received, and we were thrilled to engage in conversations about their inspiration and meaning. Notably, Sydney's necklace and our cutting board fetched $630 and $498, respectively, and April's generous 10% donation added $300 to the total tally, culminating in an impressive $1428 for Make A Wish over the weekend. We appreciate the patronage of our customers.

This was a nightmare door for this customer. Her springs were so weak the opener was doing most of the work and in the process, bending the top panel and pulling the center style off the panel. She had "a nice guy" come to fix it and all he did was put a heavy duty bracket over the style to push it back flat against the panel, collected his money and went on his merry way. A month later the bracket is bent and now the J arm is twisted as well.
I installed a new high cycle spring, end bearings, cables and a new ORB bracket, pounded the J arm flat and now the door works perfectly. Kudos to the Chamberlain belt drive for not dying under the strain...lol
This is just one example of why you need to do regular maintenance on your door. Identifying problems before they cause damage can save you a lot of money in the long run.

This was a fun little project. First, I had to make a modification to a vanity the customer had someone else build, to attach the legs they wanted. Then, a couple coats of primer and paint and install. Had to wait for the counter top and sink to be installed, then I went back and installed the faucet today.
