Investing in the next generation means investing in the future of our community.
On August 17, Varney had the privilege of presenting a $250,000 commitment to Roanoke County Public Schools, supporting the Career & Technology Education Center over the next five years.
During his remarks, Varney COO Ernie Caldwell shared how exciting it is to see Roanoke County investing in the next generation and creating opportunities for students to build the skills they need for successful careers in the trades. By preparing more young people to enter these essential fields, programs like this help strengthen the skilled workforce our community needs to grow and thrive.
Varney's contribution will support equipment upgrades, innovative technology, student scholarships, certifications, and other student needs that help young people gain access to the tools, training, and opportunities they need to thrive.
