Since I have to drive for a living, I have noticed that Roanoke has constantly made it harder for the drivers to commute around Roanoke safely. First they took some four-lane streets and made them into two lanes, other places they took nice wide boulevards and turn them into narrow obstacle courses. And for people such as myself that pull a trailer, they made the corners so sharp that I have to travel into the oncoming lane to make a turn. Now I see they're going around Roanoke putting paint in the bike lanes. Any biker knows there are two things you avoid on the road, one is leaves and the other is paint because both are inherently slick.
