We’re asking our community to help us take care of one of our own.
Last night, one of our team members, Justin Herring, and his girlfriend Shawna suffered a devastating house fire that resulted in the total loss of their home and belongings.
Looking at what remains of their home, it’s hard to imagine how quickly everything can change.
But there is one tremendous blessing in all of this: Justin, Shawna, their dog, and their cat all made it out safely.
At Murray & Sons Electrical, the people who work beside us aren’t simply employees. We spend long days together, solve problems together, travel together, and depend on one another. They’re family.
Justin has been there for our company, our customers, and countless people in our community when they needed someone to show up and help. Now it’s our turn to show up for him.
Justin and Shawna are facing the enormous task of rebuilding their lives from essentially nothing—finding housing, replacing clothing and household necessities, caring for their pets, and dealing with all the unexpected expenses that come after losing a home.
We have started a GoFundMe to help give them some stability and breathing room while they begin putting the pieces back together.
