As you can tell we’re a little bit excited about this build 😁 🔨 Framing is up, and this addition is taking shape! 🏡
DCK Construction is adding 1,200 sq. ft. including a family room, bedroom, new full bathroom and water closet.

It’s always exciting to see a project go from plans to reality. We’re proud of how this one is coming together!

🏡🌲 Working with natural wood means understanding how it behaves. Following the manufacturer's recommended installation specifications—including proper layout, fastening, expansion spacing, and thoughtful board selection—helps ensure a quality installation that performs well through seasonal changes in temperature and humidity.
We're installing pine shiplap in a newly built family summer retreat on Big Lake, Maine. Every board is carefully inspected, cut to showcase the best grain and appearance, fastened according to the manufacturer's recommendations, and checked for consistent reveals to create clean, uniform lines throughout the cottage.

🌲Working in a compact space makes organization one of the most important parts of the job. Keeping materials neatly staged, maintaining clear walkways, and cleaning as we go creates a job site that feels welcoming, safe, and efficient—for everyone involved. A well-organized workspace not only protects the finished product but also helps the installation move smoothly from start to finish.
