The countdown for the August 23 Media website launch is still on. Only about a month to go! Feel free to share and help him out.

August 23 Media is more than just a place to post pictures.

At least, that is what I want it to become.

The idea behind it is pretty simple: build a home for my photography, the stories behind the photos, the blog posts, the prints, and the process of learning as I go.

Over the last several months, I have photographed wildlife, landscapes, sports, small details, quiet moments, and a few things I probably had no business trying to photograph yet.

Naturally, I tried anyway.

That has become part of the point.

August 23 Media is not just about showing finished photos. It is also about showing the process. The mistakes. The improvements. The moments where something finally clicks. The photos that work. The ones that almost work. The ones that teach me what to do better next time.

The website is already live, but August 23 will be the official kickoff for the next phase of August 23 Media.

As part of that kickoff, I’m also doing a thank-you for the first 50 email subscribers: one free signed 8x12 or 10x10 regular store print, with shipping included.

Limited Edition prints are excluded from the offer.

The email list will also be where I share updates about new blog posts, photo galleries, print releases, limited edition announcements, and future August 23 Media projects.

For now, I’m still building, editing, organizing, writing, and trying not to break the website in the process.

So far, mostly successful.
